CANNES, France (AP) — The Chekhovian Turkish drama "Winter Sleep" was awarded the Palme d'Or Saturday at the 67th annual Cannes Film Festival. Director Nuri Bilge Ceylan accepted Cannes' top honor, handed out by Quentin Tarantino and Uma Thurman.
